I know it's still the 31st in CA, but it's already 2004 here in India.
Only three more days here...I'll post a nice, big update when I get back, with pictures and all, so stay tuned.

I'm at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport right now! Haha, yeah, I couldn't help myself but blog from here too, right?
Sitting here in the premiere lounge with food, drinks, my laptop and high speed internet. What more could I ask for?


Have an 8 hour stopover before I board the connecting aircraft to Bombay. Going to spend around 5 hours of that in here, and then go and look around the shops. It's a great airport! Lots of stuff around to check out.

The flight so far has been nice and smooth, although really long. 14 hours to Taipei, where we stopped for 45 mins, and then about 4 hours to KL. Now the last leg to Bombay remains.
Spent most of my time on board watching Matchstick Men and Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas; listening to music, playing those Nintendo-style games on the little screens, and sleeping. Got a seat next to the emergency exit, so it was great...lots of leg room.

Anyways, going to relax here for a bit, eat, and then get to the gate later...

And the wait finally comes to an end. I'm leaving for Bombay tonight. You cannot imagine how excited I am right now.
Got all those little bits of work done that I had to do. Now I just have to do the laundry, and pack up my clothes. Everything else is packed up and ready to go. In the process of completely clearing out my room right now.

So yeah, expect a hiatus in my blogging for the next month or so. I doubt I'm going to be online much while I'm there to be able to blog regularly, but I'll try to post now and then maybe. Taking my camera phone with me, and my dad has the digital camera. So pictures will come up here when I return for sure.

Awwh...tonight's the "LOTR: Return of the King" red carpet premiere in Westwood. I really wanted to go for this one, but I won't be able to make it.

First off, finals are just around the corner, and I have to manage my time to finish studying as well as get the last few homework assignments in math and physics done.
And then there's also an extra credit Anthropology assignment this evening at the same time as the premiere, and I have to go for that.
This sucks...

On another note, I had a chat with my dad on MSN yesterday. He was also able to get a local SIM card in Bombay working in the N3650. Hurrah for tri-band GSM! I'm taking my 3650 with me as well, mainly to take pictures with, but I'm not sure I'll be getting another SIM card too. We'll see when I get there...
Talked to some old friends whom I haven't seen for two and a half years. Some of them went to other parts of the world after 10th (like I did) or after 12th. It's going to be fun to have a little unofficial reunion again.

This is probably going to be one of the best months of the year (excluding finals, of course...hehe) for me - going back to India; Christmas and my grandfather's b'day (which happen to be on the same day); and finally New Years Eve! I'm hoping to do something fun with family/friends while I'm there.
