Twessenger 2.0 is ready to go…

So what’s new?

  • More reliable: Completely re-written from scratch to use the latest Twitter API.
  • Easier to set up: Just install, enable the plugin, and enter your Twitter username. You no longer need to search for your numeric Twitter ID.
  • New options: You can now change the update interval, and choose to ignore all Twitter replies - i.e. messages beginning with @
  • Automatic update notifications: Twessenger 2.0 will automatically notify you when new versions are available!

    Would love the option of also being able to use as a full twitter client!

    This seems like a great app! But I can’t get it to work. The options in my add-on menu are greyed out and there’s a security message at the bottom stating that not all add-ons are from trustworthy sources. (The message is in Dutch so posting the whole thing wouldn’t make sense to you.)

    Any idea what could be the problem?

  6. Installed and apparently it’s connecting as I can see my last post just under my name in the spot.. TwitterIM shows as offline altough I have the chcek box to turn it on.. Would love to get it working.. TIA
